CARE & WASHING INSTRUCTIONS

Red LOON sweater on a hanger in an apple tree

With the right care you can keep your LOON soft, beautiful and in shape for longer.

Wash less. Air more. Love your LOON.

01

AIR IT OUT

Merino naturally resists odour, so you can often skip the wash. Hang your LOON to air for a few hours or overnight, preferably out of direct sun.

02

WASH GENTLY

When it needs washing, use a wool or hand-wash programme at max 30°C and a detergent developed for wool without enzymes. A wash bag can help protect the fibres from friction.

03

NO HEAT

Never put your merino in the tumble dryer. Heat can make wool shrink. Don’t wring wet knitwear either. Lay it flat on a clean towel, gently shape it and let it dry.

04

PILLING IS NATURAL

Fine merino fibres can pill a little, especially where the garment rubs and mostly at the beginning. Gently remove small pills with a wool comb.

05

STORE FOLDED

Lay your LOON styles clean, dry and folded on the shelf. Avoid hanging knitwear on a hanger for long periods, and it will keep its shape.
